Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is an aqueous urea solution made from 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionised water, which is weakly alkaline (ph=9~10), non-toxic, non-polluting, non-combustible, easy to operate, safe, odourless or slightly ammonia-smelling (effective in reducing fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions).
Diesel exhaust treatment fluid mainly plays the role of purifying vehicle exhaust, can react with the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides. At the same time, it optimises engine performance and fuel consumption, reducing diesel consumption by up to 5%-7%.Risso uses B-brand automotive urea, which has a very good fuel-saving effect.
